Expert care for women at every stage of life

From young adulthood through to later life, we're here to support your health with expert, compassionate care. If you're looking for specialist assessment and effective treatment from a dedicated women's health clinic in Liverpool, our experienced team of female Chartered Physiotherapists is here to help. We specialise in pelvic health, providing evidence-based treatment in a safe, private and supportive environment to help you regain confidence, comfort and control.

Led by a recognised authority in Pelvic Health.

Our service is uniquely led and overseen by our Clinic Director Sarah Norris,a trusted expert and specialist trainer in pelvic health. In addition to her clinical practice, Sarah runs a premier women’s health educational company Everything Woman and actively teaches and trains other medical and healthcare professionals in the field of pelvic health.

When you book an appointment with our specialist pelvic health physio team in Liverpool, you are being cared for by clinicians who work directly alongside Sarah, using the very same cutting-edge practices and standards that she teaches to the wider medical profession.

Conditions our Liverpool pelvic health team treats

We provide expert, highly confidential examination and treatment for a wide range of pelvic health, bladder, and bowel conditions, including:

  • Bladder health

Stress urinary incontinence (leaking when coughing, sneezing, or exercising), urinary urgency, and overactive bladder.

  • Bowel health & function

Chronic constipation, difficulty emptying, and accidental bowel leakage.

  • Pelvic support & postnatal recovery

Pelvic organ prolapse, abdominal muscle separation (diastasis recti), and post-birth core weakness.

  • Persistent pain conditions

Chronic pelvic pain, vulvodynia, and pain during intercourse (dyspareunia)

  • Hormonal transitions

Genitourinary and pelvic floor symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause.

What to expect at your consultation.

We understand that addressing bowel health and pelvic floor physio concerns can feel incredibly personal, and for many women, it comes with a degree of anxiety. Please rest assured, our team sees many women every single day. We provide a safe, secure, and deeply reassuring environment. There is absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about, and with our targeted approach, physiotherapy genuinely works.

Complete Autonomy Over Your Assessment

To build the most accurate recovery plan, a specialised internal pelvic floor examination (via the vagina or, if indicated for bowel health concerns, the rectum) is often highly beneficial. However, your comfort and control are absolute:

  • Strictly consent-based: Your treating physiotherapist will thoroughly explain the clinical reasoning, answer any questions, and gain your clear consent before any examination. You can change your mind or pause the assessment at any second.

  • 100% non-invasive options available: If you prefer not to have an internal assessment, please do not worry. It is only one part of our toolkit. We can use our advanced, non-invasive biofeedback sensor that you simply sit on in full clothing to map how your pelvic floor is functioning.

Chaperone Policy

Your peace of mind is our priority. You are always welcome to bring a chaperone with you to your appointment. If you plan to do so, please let our clinic team know in advance so we can share our chaperone policy with you.

A Dynamic, Resource-Rich Approach to Care

We believe that women deserve the highest standard of care without the constraints of long waiting lists, strict time limits, or resource rationing.

As an independent private clinic, we can provide truly personalised care without the restrictions often found in larger healthcare systems. This freedom allows our specialist team the time to listen, assess thoroughly, and create a recovery plan tailored to you - while maintaining the highest standards of clinical safety and quality.

Alongside expert hands-on treatment, we offer access to advanced technologies including ultrasound imaging, EMG biofeedback, magnetic field therapy and TECAR therapy, where clinically appropriate. Available treatments and equipment may vary between our two clinic locations.
